I’m a pre-licensed Clinical Social Worker currently working under the licensed supervision of Dr. Trevor Olson. I completed my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC) with an emphasis in Military Social Work, and received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley. As a combat veteran, I have seen some of the darkest of days during my time in service (was overhead the shootdown of EN 17). My goal as a therapist is to help people navigate through their toughest moments in life and to restore hope when it seems like it no longer exists.My specialty is connecting with clients and focusing on the human condition. I make sure that people feel at ease and meet them where they are at. There aren't any expectations other than for the client(s) to feel comfortable enough to share their story. It will take patience and mental fortitude in order to get to the root of some issues.I am aware of the stigma that can come with the mental health field and I know how hard it can be to get the help one needs. I have feared judgment and possible ramification from getting help, and I am aware of the pressures and of the shame that seem to surround it as well. I have walked in your shoes and I can truly empathize.
