I am a counselor because I believe you are worth experiencing healing despite your past or current challenges and traumas. We live in a broken world, but that does not mean hope, healing, and joy are not possible, because they are. I care about providing a safe space for you to grieve, grow, and take back your life. It is a privilege to learn about the experiences that have shaped you and to walk alongside you as you step into freedom. I believe in the importance of addressing the mind, body, and soul collectively so that you can achieve health in all facets of life. With my own personal struggles of depression, trauma, and grief I've experienced the beauty of a positive counseling relationship and desire to give what has been given to me. I've wanted to be a counselor since I was a teenager. Life has taken its twists and turns, but through it all, I've learned that it's never too late to be who you're called to be.I am bilingual and bicultural and work from a multicultural perspective regarding the complexities of cultural expectations and societal pressures. In addition to my specialties listed, I am pursuing certification in Christian Sex Therapy to help my clients talk about and address matters of sexuality, female pain disorders, and regaining intimacy.
