Mr Briant-Evans qualified from Nottingham in 1999, and trained in London, the South West and the Wessex region. He has completed specialist arthroplasty fellowship training in New Zealand, Basingstoke and Oxford and a trauma fellowship in the USA. His main areas of specialisation are in hip and knee replacement surgery (primary, complex and revision), as well as arthroscopic knee surgery, computer-navigated knee replacement and unicompartmental knee replacement. He teaches surgical trainees locally and as a faculty member on both regional and national courses. Mr Briant-Evans is also involved in ongoing research in areas of hip and knee surgery and has presented his work at major international meetings and has been published in leading Orthopaedic journals.
