I have been practicing orthopaedic surgery for the last 20 years since my qualification in India. I have been practicing Orthopaedics in the UK since 1998 and as a consultant since 2007. I did an arthroplasty fellowship in Leicester and trained at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham as a senior trainee. I perform more than 200 lower limb joint replacements every year with excellent results as is evidenced on the data in the National Joint registry. I have special interest in Hip and Knee replacements in the younger active patient. I also do arthroscopic knee surgery and also perform revision hip and knee replacement surgery. I have presented papers at National and International meetings and have published papers in the international indexed journals. My NHS practice is based at Burton Hospital NHS foundation trust. Other interests I am a clinical Tutor responsible for the training of Junior Doctors in our NHS trust and responsible for their teaching and training. Personal interests Playing tennis, travelling, skiing, running.
