Mr Konduru completed his Orthopaedic training in Glasgow and subsequently underwent a combined Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Spinal Fellowship in Liverpool. His main area of practice is in treating low back pain, sciatica and other problems associated with ageing and wear and tear changes in all areas of the spine.He is very experienced in microsurgical techniques of spinal surgery and instrumentation of the spine. He believes in treating most spinal problems with non operative methods and injections wherever possible. Where surgery is needed, he practices minimally invasive / key hole surgery to minimise trauma and speed up recovery. Other interestsApart from degenerative pathology of the spine, he has special interests in vertebroplasty and kypholasty for osteoporotic vertebral fractures. In addition to his clinical practice, he is also regularly involved with the teaching of medical students at Keele University. Personal interestsHe is a keen cricketer and enjoys playing racket sports as well.
