Dr Saad Al-Ismail has been the Senior Consultant Haematologist in Swansea for 36 years. He developed comprehensive clinical and laboratory haematology services in the area including management of different blood cancers, Bone Marrow Transplantation and established a Haemophilia Centre in Swansea. He only recently retired from NHS services but continues to provide clinical haematology services in the fields of haematological cancers as well as thrombosis and haemostasis. He has over 50 scientific publications.
