Dr Ahmad is a General Haematologist specialising in diagnosis and treatment of disorders of blood and bone marrow including thromboposis and thrombophilia. He received his post graduate medical training on the Trinity Medical SHO Scheme in Dublin. He then trained in London in Haematological Medicine & Pathology on the Kings College Hospital Training Programme. He received additional training in bleeding and thrombotic disorders at St Thomas Hospital London. Dr Ahmad is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) and also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP Edin)
