Mr Ronan Banim is a consultant Orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hip, knee and lower limb surgery, performing a large number of joint replacements and ligament reconstructions. He is an experienced lower limb surgeon who also treats sports injuries and trauma. Mr Banim regularly treats conditions such as hip and knee arthritis, torn cartilage, ligament rupture, and soft tissue injuries (including fractures). He aims to provide high-quality patient care and uses evidence-based techniques to achieve the best possible outcome. He ensures to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques in orthopaedics and trauma to provide the best treatment for his patients. Mr Banim sees patients at the Grosvenor Hospital and is also the orthopaedic surgery lead at the Countess of Chester. He graduated from the University of London in 1993 and trained in the West Midlands and Wales. He has completed fellowships in a number of specialist orthopaedic centres in the UK and the US. Mr Banim is a member of the British Hip Society, the British Association for Surgery of the Knee, and the British Orthopaedic Association.
