Mr Rohit Madhav, Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon is a highly experienced surgeon with specialist training in complex foot and ankle surgery. He has amassed a wealth of experience working within the UCL NHS trust for over 8 years and was a former founder of The London Orthopaedic Clinic. Currently, he has a private practice within the highly-reputable Harley Street Medical District in London.Mr Madhav graduated in 1990 from St Georges Medical School in Medicine, he then went on to join the Imperial College London Orthopaedic Training programme. He was awarded a Royal College of Surgeons accredited fellowship in his speciality FRCS(Tr&Orth). Following the completion of his fellowship and training, University College Hospitals NHS trust appointed his Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2004. Following 8 years at the trust, he then went into private practice full time in 2012. Throughout his training Mr Madhav has actively engaged with research, producing many research publications.He has extensive knowledge and years of experience in a range of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for lower limb injuries and ailments. He specialises in foot and ankle problems, hammer toe, Achilles and other tendon disorders, arthritis, joint replacements, fractures and ligament surgery. He is highly experienced in the use of minimally invasive surgical and arthroscopic techniques.Throughout his recent career, he has been the Foot and Ankle surgeon to performers on the West End stage, Royal and Central Ballet Schools and an essential part of the support team to the NFL and NBA when in London. He continues to be a mentor and trainer to colleagues on minimally invasive bunion, foot, and ankle surgery.
