Biography
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma (including abuse and neglect), parenting skills and concerns, relationship issues, and other life difficulties/problems in living. I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. I think of psychotherapy as a collaborative venture that offers opportunities for healing, growth and change. I work from a strengths-based approach that combines psychodynamic, interpersonal, relational approaches with developmental, attachment, and trauma research and theory. Although, I am not currently working with children individually, I bring with me a strong background in child work that informs my work with parents. I am currently available to work with young adults, and adults.
