Biography
I'm the founder and director of Village Psychology, a private therapy practice devoted to creating positive changes in the lives of college students and young adults through highly specialized, evidence-based group therapy.
We are currently running Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills groups and Anxiety Skills Groups for college students and young adults. We have both DBT skills training and DBT graduate groups for those who already know the skills and want ongoing support to continue to apply them in their lives.
Young adults (ages 18-30) join our groups to participate in skills-based treatments with people their own age who are experiencing similar problems. Our group members often want more support than individual therapy alone can provide and find that groups offer a chance to connect and learn from one another guided by an experienced therapist. We are proud to provide evidence-based, short-term therapy groups which are focused on treating anxiety, depression, rapidly changing emotions and impulsivity, overly-controlled emotions and perfectionism, and trauma/PTSD.
When we can resume in person sessions, we are located in Coolidge Corner in Brookline, MA, which is easily accessible by both car and public transportation from Boston and the greater Boston area.
