Biography
Dr. Coffino is a clinical psychologist and researcher located in New York City specializing in eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and OCD. Dr. Coffino sees patients at her private practice and is a research fellow at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
During her PhD training, she completed a predoctoral fellowship specializing in eating disorder treatment at Yale University and a clinical psychology internship within the behavioral medicine track at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Dr. Coffino currently has a private practice in New York City. She describes her therapy approach as empathetic, direct, and skills-based. She flexibly utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy approaches including dialectical behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy to help patients meet their treatment goals.
