Biography
We are all unique. While this may sound cliché, it is perhaps one of the most important lessons that I have learned in my years of practice. Each person and each concern that they bring is woven into the fabric of their individual life. As a result, I strive to understand the particulars of each person. Some people come for therapy to heal deep wounds, others come to manage a particular issue, others come to improve their relationships, while still others come to deepen their understanding of themselves and their lives. People want to stop living with anxiety and depression and trauma. I approach my work from a perspective of empowerment, strength, resilience, and hope. I am forever awed by people’s capacity to create profound change in their lives and to live life in a way that feels satisfying. We are all responsible for our own lives, the choices we make, and the paths we choose. However, sometimes old wounds, learned behavior patterns keep us from living the life we long for. My goal is to help you find your way on that path.
