Mr Philip Housden is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist interest in lower limb problems. His clinical interests include all aspects of hip and knee surgery including arthroscopy of both joints, osteotomy plus partial and total joint replacement. Mr Housden qualified in Cardiff in 1985, undertaking surgical training across London and the UK, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, and undertook Fellowships in hip and knee surgery in Exeter and Melbourne, Australia. He was appointed as an NHS Orthopaedic Consultant in East Kent in 1995 and for nearly ten years and has been a training director for orthopaedic surgery across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
