Mr Hilmi is a Practicing ENT ( Ear nose and Throat) Surgeon Based in Glasgow. His area of expertese is the managment of Neck Lumps and he has run the North Glasgow Neck Lump Clinic for over 15 years. His specialist surgical interests include Thyroid, Parathyroid and Airway Surgery and his Thyroid and parathyroid operations are included in the Uk national Thyroid Surgery Audit.Mr Hilmi qualified from Dundee University in 1993 and completed his basic surgical training on the Tayside Basic Surgical Training Scheme. He went on to complete his specialist training in ENT on the East of Scotland Training Scheme and was appointed as a consultant in Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 2005.Mr Hilmi is the Ex Chairman of the Speciality Advisory Board for ENT of the RCSEd and is on the Executive Board for the British Association of thyroid and endocrine surgeons. He is the organiser of training courses on the Surgical Management of thyroid cancer.
