Mr. Valsamakis has 18 years of medical experience of which more than 10 years in ENT field. Following his medical degree and his Master of Science in International Medicine and Health Crisis Management , he completed his training in all aspects of ENT.He undertook Fellowships in Head & Neck and Rhinology surgery in Queen`s Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust in Glasgow between 2013-2015 and also completed Fellowship training in Paediatric Otolaryngology in Birmingham;s Women`s and Children`s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2016.He was subsequently appointed to the post of ENT Consultant in University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust in 2006. In his department., he teaches and supports the ENT trainees as a clinical supervisor and he has the role of the Clinical Audit Lead.His current practice covers all general ENT pathology seeing patients with common and less common disorders, such as glue ear, snoring, sleep apnoea, tonsillitis, halitosis, throat problems, drooling, thyroglossal cysts, nasal blockage, rhinitis, septal deviation, septal perforation, nasal polyposis, nasal deformity, hearing problems, voice issues, ear deformity. His special interest lies with nasal diseases and airway problems both for adults and children.Mr. Valsamakis runs specialist clinics in Rhinology/Rhinoplasty and Children`s airway.
