Nancy Alonzo is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. Nancy received her Bachelor’s Degree from Florida International University in 2013, and her Master in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. Nancy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness approaches to help her clients achieve their goals. Nancy believes that providing clients with a caring and safe space to explore their issues, where they feel supported, validated, and understood, is a catalyst for positive change.Nancy has been serving clients experiencing conduct disorders, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and illness, and adjustment issues. From working with at-risk youths to adults facing difficult life transitions, her broad clinical training, combined with her nurturing and compassionate therapeutic style, has produced positive outcomes for her clients.I like to help others, and I experienced the magic that occurs within the therapeutic process in my own personal life. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be part of this process to help others.
