Mr. Seb Sturridge is an experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon, appointed at Frimley Park Hospital in 2010. He sees patients with most hip and knee conditions but has sub-specialist interests in sports -related hip injuries, young adult hip surgery, hip arthroscopy and replacement. He offers procedures such as joint preserving surgery, partial and total joint replacement and surgery to replace a failing implant. Mr. Sturridge was born in London, educated at Ampleforth College and studied medicine at University College London. He was a research fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and went on to higher surgical training through Guys St. Thomas and Kings Hospitals. He was fellowship trained in Hip and Knee revision surgery in Melbourne, Australia and then at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He was appointed the Guys Hip Fellow in 2010 where he developed his interest in young adult hip surgery and minimally invasive surgery techniques. Mr. Sturridge uses minimally invasive surgical techniques to allow his patients to get back to full fitness as soon as possible. He also uses implants and bearing surfaces with a proven track record to increase their longevity. Mr. Sturridge is active in research and continues to publish, and lectures internationally. He runs a successful fellowship, accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons, with a national reputation.
