Mark Price is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon and has worked around the Staffordshire region for 24 years. His practice offers a wide range of modern diagnostic techniques and treatments from in shoe orthosis (insoles) to a full range of foot surgery. Typical treatments offered are for plantar fasciitis (heel pain), bunion deformity, hammer toes, flat feet and arthritis and other sports injury pains with in the foot and leg. Mark has lived and worked in Staffordshire with his wife and 2 children since qualifying in 1985. Having qualified as a State Registered Chiropodist and Podiatrist he joined Staffordshire Health Authority whilst continuing to study for Podiatric Surgery qualifications and a degree in Health Studies from The University of Central England (Birmingham) and a Master's degree in Podiatric Surgery. Having been elected as a Fellow of The Faculty of Podiatric Surgery of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists he has continued to develop his career to become a Surgical Tutor and final surgical examiner for the Podiatric Surgical Faculty. Mark is widely published and lecturing nationally and internationally. He enjoys his commitment to the teaching programmes offered at Staffordshire University at graduate level and teaching in a variety of Acupuncture techniques and hypnosis. He is a visiting lecturer to under graduates at the University of Malta, School of Podiatry. He also lectures to General Practitioners, Registrars and Consultants on Lower Limb and Sports Biomechanics for the British Association of Sports Exercise and Medicine. He has a patent listed in the UK and USA for the Dynastat which he invented to help colleagues to uniquely measure and assess the foot and its abnormalities in a weight bearing position.
