John Malik FCPodS, MSc, Cert Ed, BSc Hons, IP, PS NHS and Private Consultant Podiatric Surgeon Mr Malik is an experienced Podiatrist and Podiatric Surgeon having been in practice for over 23 years. He is a Fellow of the College of Podiatrists and awarded Tutor Status and CCPST. He is employed in the NHS as a Substantive Consultant Podiatric Surgeon and Clinical Lead. He provides care in the private sector in Birmingham, Worcester and Malvern, at BMI The Edgbaston Hospital, Spire South Bank Worcester and Malvern Foot Clinic Mr Malik's qualifications include a Masters Degree in Science with Distinction from Huddersfield University in the subject area of Podiatic Surgery. He holds a First Class BSc Hons in Podiatry from Leicester University. As an educationalist Mr Malik holds a Cert Ed. As an expert witness he has achieved certification from Cardiff University Bond Solon. Formerly he has been Head of Podiatry at the Birmingham School of Podiatry, an elected Faculty Board Member of the Faculty of Surgery (College of Podiatrists) and Quality Assurance Committee, External Examiner to the MSc Theory of Podiatric Surgery Course provided by GCal and QMU and was the Chair of the Podiatric Surgery Exam Board for the College of Podiatrists. He is currently an Honorary Principal Lecturer at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Mr Malik actively continues to provide education and training at both undergraduate and post graduate level to health care professionals, especially in the area of podiatry and podiatric surgery.
