Mr Manhal Georges Nassif is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon based at Kings Park Hospital. He has special interest in Complex primary Hip and Knee Replacement and Revision Arthroplasty of Hip and knee replacement.He has clinical interests in:Hip and knee primary and complex revision replacement surgeryManagement infected joint replacement surgeryAnkle and foot surgeryTrauma surgeryMedico legal workHe has vast experience in complex primary and revision lower limb joint replacement as well as trauma surgery, including the surgical management of poly trauma. His particular interest is in lower limb rheumatoid surgery. He also has specialist experience in foot and ankle surgery.Mr Nassif gained his MD in 1985 from the University of Damascus. He went on to undertake a diploma in orthopaedics in 1999 followed by an MChOrth in 1996 from the University of Dundee. In 2000, he joined the Intercollegiate Board Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery 2000.In addition to his clinical work, Mr Nassif is a senior clinical teacher at the Medical School of the University of Dundee. He has also supervised research and degree projects.Additionally, he was the chair of clinical governance for 6 years and was on the medical advisory committee at Fernbrae Hospital for 2 years.He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.He speaks both English and Arabic.
