Children, teens, and young adults can all have something in common: growing pains. If you find that you or your child needs room to grow in a compassionate, safe, and private environment, my door is open for you. I have worked with individuals facing adjustment issues, grief, anxiety/depression, gender and identity discovery, ADHD, trauma, changing family dynamics, and eating disorders. For clients of all ages, I believe creativity and expressing oneself can lead the way to healing, coping, and helping to expand the understanding of one's identity. For young children, I enjoy using directive and non-directive play therapy as resources for healing. Play therapy, for children, is talk therapy because children speak and process their emotions through play. Guardians are pivotal in play therapy because lasting change does not happen in therapy, it happens outside of it in the home.I use practices such as person-centered, play, expressive arts, and cognitive-behavioral therapy as tools to aid you or your child's growth. If you're interested in learning more about my approach to therapy, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you!
