Mr Luc Louette is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Kent, UK. He was awarded his primary medical qualification in 1988 from the University of Leuven, Belgium, before going on to complete his specialty training in orthopaedic surgery between 1988 and 1995. This included a yearlong Senior House Officer post in 1989 in Exeter, UK, as well as a Senior Registrar position in 1994 in Dunedin, New Zealand. Mr Louette has a specialist interest in complex foot and ankle pathology, with vast experience in performing hindfoot, midfoot, and ankle fusions. He undertook further postgraduate training specifically in foot and ankle surgery at both the Oxford Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and in Baltimore, USA. He has since worked as a Senior Fellow in joint replacement surgery at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Birmingham, a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Banbury and Walsall, and is currently working at East Kent NHS Hospital.
