I believe the biggest part of my job is to provide a safe space for you to share about yourself and what you’re experiencing. I provide psychotherapy without regard to race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender identity while making you feel heard and understood. From there we can work on ways for you to improve your coping in whatever it is you’re going through.While my approach is eclectic, my specialties include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and using supportive person-centered techniques. My experience ranges from direct services and program management to grant writing and teaching graduate Social Work students.I have worked with people who have major mental illnesses, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, gender dysphoria, and Dissociative Identity Disorder, as well as those who just need a boost to get past feeling overwhelmed by the stresses of life.
