Mr Ziali Sivardeen is a well experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with experience treating an array of patients, including elite level athletes, World Cup winners, celebrities, and members of the Royal Family. Notably, during the London 2012 Olympics, Mr Sivardeen served as the designated Surgeon for Olympians and ParaOlympians requiring Shoulder or Elbow Surgery at the Olympic Athlete’s Village. This role earned him an invitation to a special reception at Buckingham Palace.Specialising in knee problems, Mr Sivardeen has managed cases linked to Premier League football clubs, addressing issues such as ACL injuries, cartilage, and meniscal tears. He also served as a Tutor and later one of two Regional Surgical Advisors for London at the Royal Colleges Of Surgeons. He organised the pan London Sports and Exercise Medicine teaching program in 2015 and is currently an Examiner for the Intercollegiate Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS exams).As the Surgical Lead for the Sports Injury Service at Homerton University Hospital from 2009 to 2015, Mr Sivardeen contributed significantly to the NHS. His extensive research interests in orthopaedic shoulder and knee problems, particularly in elite rugby players, led to numerous presentations at national and international meetings. Mr Sivardeens commitment to education extends globally, having conducted lectures and master classes worldwide for surgeons, consultants, and practitioners. Trained by three Presidents of National Orthopaedic Societies at Fellowship Level, Mr Sivardeen is one of the few Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons in the UK with such a distinction.
