Together, we can be in better understanding of how you've come to story your life - challenging the limiting influence of messages that sound like "what should be" and "what's supposed to be" - and come into more preferred ways of being. I am guided to support you through sex and gender issues, identity development across different contexts like age and culture, relationship problems, and life transitions by my own experiences in the identities I hold as a queer, 1st generation Filipino-American as well as my training and values as a therapist. We may encounter difficult moments together, but I'll be with you every step of the way!My hope is to create a non-judgmental space where we can openly question dominant narratives that attempt to tell you who you are or who you should be and begin crafting your own preferred sense of self. I offer support by lifting up your own strengths, skills and resources, so we can find creative solutions - while also sprinkling in a little fun, too!I want to recognize you for taking this step in taking care of yourself and your mental health. I understand it can be a difficult step for many reasons, so it takes a lot of strength and courage to make it this far. I look forward to building on that strength and courage through a relationship of trust and safety in order to find a path to healing.
