Mr Jean-Pierre Jeannon is a highly skilled Consultant Ear Nose and Throat Surgeon based at London Bridge Hospital. He has extensive experience in general head and neck surgery, including head and neck cancer, voice disorders, and thyroid issues. He is also an expert in performing Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) for the treatment of throat cancer.In addition to his private practice, Mr Jeannon holds an NHS Post at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where he was the Clinical Director of Surgical Oncology from 2018 to 2021. He has specialized in the surgery for advanced orbital malignancy in collaboration with Moorfields Eye Hospital for the past 10 years.After completing his medical degree at the University of Birmingham, Mr Jeannon underwent basic surgical training in the West Midlands and specialist training in Newcastle. He then completed a Fellowship at the University of Toronto in Canada before returning to the UK to take up a Consultant position at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital.Mr Jeannon is actively involved in research and has published extensively in his field. He is the principal investigator in several clinical research trials focused on immunotherapy and translational research for head and neck cancer treatment, and is a regular presenter on these subjects at international conferences. He is also committed to medical education and holds positions as a Member of the Court of Examiners for the Royal College of Surgeons and an Associate Professor of Head & Neck Surgery at Kings College London.
