Mr Golding-Wood is a highly experienced ENT surgeon who consults at BMI Chelsfield Park Hospital. He treats the full range of ENT conditions and specialises particularly on ear diseases such as hearing loss, tinnitus, balance problems, ear discharge, and earache. He does refer complex cases to larger institutions when this is in the best interests of the patient. Mr Golding-Wood graduated from St Thomas Hospital Medical School in 1980 before undertaking a fellowship in General Surgery in 1985. He completed registrar training at The Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital and senior registrar training at The Royal Free and The Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. Following this, he received a TWJ fellowship in Neuro-Otology and worked at the University of Michigan Hospitals and The Kresge Hearing Research Institute before being joining Bromley Hospitals in 1995 as a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a special interest in Otology (ear disease). During this time, Mr Golding-Wood gained considerable experience in middle ear and mastoid surgery. He has been a longstanding advocate of day case surgery. Mr Golding-Wood served as the ENT surgery clinical lead for the local trust (PRUH) between 2007 and 2013 and has also previously been the chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at Chelsfield Park. He is a keen golfer and father of three.
