Mr Istvan Mersich is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgery who specialises in Lower Limb and Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He completed his Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship in Nottingham, and worked at the University Hospital of Semmelweiss Medical School in Budapest where he was the head of the Shoulder and Elbow Unit. He later returned to the UK to set up a Shoulder and Elbow Unit in Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre.
