I am a Consultant ENT/Head & Neck/Thyroid Surgeon East North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, Clinical Director (Lister Hospital Stevenage, QEII Hospital Welwyn Garden City) I run a high volume general ENT service with weekly MDT Head & Neck clinics as well as special neck lump and Thyroid assessment clinics at both the Lister and QEII Hospitals. I am responsible for the Head & Neck Services in East and North Hertfordshire and I am the Chair of the Head & Neck Services within the Mount Vernon Cancer Network. I was trained in London and was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at the East & North Herts NHS Trust in 2000. My special interests include Neck lumps, Thyroid surgery, Parathyroid surgery, General ENT including paediatrics, Head & Neck Cancers, Salivary Gland Surgery. I am the UK lead in continuous intra operative nerve monitoring during thyroid surgery and regularly train other surgeons both from the UK and overseas in the technique.
