Hey! I’m Genevieve. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Colorado. I graduated from FSU and I specialize in treating trauma/PTSD, anxiety, working with the LGBTQIA+ community and coping with grief & loss. In addition to talk therapy, I offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Through the use of skilled eye movements, I am able to treat clients struggling with acute or chronic PTSD and trauma symptoms such as nightmares, flashbacks, memory lapses, numbness, hypervigilance, irritability, and self-destructive behaviors. This special therapy aids clients in reducing trauma within 1-5 sessions on average.I am a former military spouse and enjoy working with the military, veteran, and first responder community. I am a proud bisexual out therapist. Clients have described my approach to therapy as direct and empathetic. I will never force you to change (and realistically, I can't make you anyways.)
