Ms. Ferha Saeed is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive experience within the areas of fetal medicine, general gynaecology, and cosmetic gynaecology. Ferha is committed to serving the multicultural community of London and believes in providing holistic care to women. She is dedicated to serving each woman based on specific needs and manages patients in an efficient and gentle manner. She obtained her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in the Oxford and South East England regions. She started as a consultant at Barts Health NHS Trust in 2015.In 2017 she was appointed as the Director of the Perinatal network at Barts Health NHS to lead the strategic development of services and maintaining the standards of care in maternity and neonatology across Barts health. Ferha acquired her MRCOG in 2004 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists in 2017. She undertook training in fetal medicine and ultrasound in pregnancy at the Centre for Fetal Care within Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital Imperial Health Trust and then acquired a Postgraduate Certification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ultrasound from Kings College London. She performs pregnancy scans including early pregnancy, gender and 3D/4D scanning. She has also gained training and experience in general and cosmetic gynaecology and therefore also offers advice and management for gynaecological problems including pelvic pain, PCOS, menstural problems, miscarriage, vaginal/vulvar atrophy, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility investigations, and menopausal health issues over virtual consultations as well. Ms. Ferha Saeed is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. She is an MRCOG examiner, a Representative for the Appointment Advisory Committee, and the North East London Deanery Ultrasound Coordinator at the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. She was also a College Tutor for three years and remained responsible for the training of junior doctors. She is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Barts & London School of Medicine & Dentistry at the Queen Mary University of London and actively participates in the training and teaching of medical students.
