If you find yourself feeling low and unmotivated to accomplish tasks, feel out of control because your emotions or thoughts are intense, or maybe you feel like there needs to be a change in your lifestyle, this could be a launch point for getting into therapy. As a therapist I hope to create a safe and welcoming environment for people to feel comfortable sharing their life experiences with me at their own pace. There are also times in which life circumstances may be overwhelming, or certain trauma triggers are continuing to be an issue, we can work on how to manage the difficult emotions in order to function in any environment.I aim to provide a service that is beneficial for you because your well-being is important to me. This is a judgment free space. And with children, ages eight and up I work with challenges such as behavior and emotion regulation, organization, and communication using play therapy and other science-based modalities that are apprpotiate for children.I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including Client-Centered therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, Family Systems, Play therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. I hope to partner with you to provide you with the tools necessary to recognize your strengths and learn to be your best self for you and those around you.
