My name is Tracy Cappel-Rice, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have been providing therapy for over 20 years. My approach tends to be client centered. I work collaboratively with you to gain a thorough understanding of your needs and goals in therapy. I work with a variety of clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, and stress from life's transitions. My therapeutic approach is eclectic including family systems theory, cognitive behavioral techniques, and mindfulness, while utilizing creative therapies for development, growth, and change.We begin goal setting on day one together. Sometimes goals can shift and grow with more self-understanding. We can develop and adapt initial goals as these changes occur.In our first session together we can explore what you'd like to accomplish in therapy, as well as get to know each other.
