Biography
Children, adolescents, adults, and couples often suffer silently before seeking help for stress, anxiety, depression, school/career challenges, and relationship or parenting difficulties. I offer a supportive approach to help clients gain a sense of clarity regarding the source of their difficulties and new ways to resolve them. Drawing from a variety of approaches and techniques, I help clients understand their internal experiences, needs, and relationships to others; identify personal strengths; and explore new ways to resolve life challenges. When working with children and adolescents, I incorporate art and play therapy. I received my PsyD from Pace University in 1988 and a post-doctorate certification in child/adolescent psychotherapy from the NJ Institute for Psychoanalysis &; Psychotherapy in 1994. I am a certified school psychologist and registered play therapist-supervisor.
