Mr Dominic Nielsen is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery practicing at Parkside Hospital, Ashtead Hospital and Fortius Clinics. Mr Nielsen graduated from St Georges Hospital London in 1997. He then undertook his Orthopaedic training in South East England. To complement his general orthopaedic training, he has 18 months specialist training in foot and ankle surgery and also spent 2 years in a centre for complex trauma and limb reconstruction. Mr Nielsen has a keen interest in developing surgeons of the future and regularly teaches at national education meetings. he has been director of Orthopaedic training in South London for the last 6 years and is the Deputy Head of the Post Graduate School of Surgery in London He has been instrumental over the last few years in improving junior doctor training along with the introduction of physicians assistants to the trust. Mr Dominic Nielsen has published work extensively on orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery as well as general orthopaedic and medical education.
