Mr Colin Natali graduated in medicine in 1986 at the University of London. He is currently a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a particular interest in the spine. Mr Natali is actively involved in maximising non-surgical treatment protocols in an attempt to avoid surgery, but also the development of surgical devices and techniques to optimise the outcome of surgery, should that be required. He directs his work to the relief of painful spinal conditions and focusses exclusively on diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the neck, thoracic and lumbar spine. Over the years, he has developed his interest in spine surgery and he is currently using the latest techniques available. He is particularly interested in back pain, neck pain, prolapsed intervertebral discs, whiplash syndrome and spondylolisthesis. For 15 years he was a Spinal Consultant at the Royal London Hospital, as well as the Programme Director for the London Hospital Rotation. In the past, he was a senior lecturer for undergraduates at Queen Mary Westfield College, Mr Natali is involved in training undergraduates, postgraduates and other medical groups. He is also the medical director of the Back2Normal rehabilitation clinic.
