Mr Chougle completed his basic surgical training in Bombay, India and moved to the United Kingdom for higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics. He was appointed as a Registrar on the West of Scotland Orthopaedic training programme in 1993 and subsequently completed his training as a specialist registrar through the North-West Deanery in 2005. His training included a Trauma Fellowship at the Glasgow Royal infirmary and 1994 and a Lower Limb Arthroplasty fellowship at Wrightington Hospital in 2002-2003.After obtaining his CCST he was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2005 at Oldham/ North Manchester General Hospital with a specialist interest in complex hip and knee replacements in young patients and revision hip and knee arthroplasty.He has numerous publications and presentations both at national and international level and has been actively involved in audits and teaching both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Diseases, Medical Tests and Treatments
