Mr. Ghosh is a Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital with a private practice at the Spire Leicester Hospital and the Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital.Mr. Ghosh specialises in complex knee surgery and hip replacements. He performs knee replacements, hip replacements, partial knee replacements, knee osteotomy, knee ligament surgery including ACL reconstruction surgery and arthroscopic knee surgery.Mr. Ghosh obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) from the University of Cambridge and Imperial College School of Medicine, London. He completed his Basic Surgical Training in London culminating with Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS). His Higher Surgical Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics was completed in the East Midlands Deanery based in Leicester during which he successfully gained his Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Tr&Orth) in Trauma & Orthopaedics.Mr. Ghosh has undertaken esteemed Fellowships in Knee surgery at The Royal Derby Hospital and also in Hip & Knee Surgery as the prestigious Stanmore Fellow (Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital London Fellowship).Mr. Ghosh is heavily involved in research. He has been awarded the degree of MA (Cantab) from the University of Cambridge. He has also been awarded the degree of MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University.
