While it may have affected us all differently, the past two years have been like no other. They may have left you wishing for someone to talk to, or a quiet space of support. They also may have given you the time to reflect and recognize the changes you'd like to see in your life or the challenges from your past that you would like to face. In these times, it can be difficult to begin the process of healing, coping and processing, while trying to regain whatever sense of normalcy we can. It is my goal to aid and support you as you go through this journey, as I get to know you and the unique factors which bring you to counseling.I believe in centering my approach to counseling on empathy and safety. Before we begin our work together towards effective change and progress, I believe in meeting life’s challenges with validation and support in a warm and comfortable environment. My goal is to be a neutral place of support in the midst of whatever you may be coping with.I value my relationship with each of my clients deeply and especially enjoy supporting and my clients through difficult life transitions and early adulthood. Along the way, I’ll primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dynamic Psychotherapy as my main approaches to treatment, but remain flexible in tailoring my approach to your needs and goals. .,.
