Mr Hamad is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of spinal surgery, including degenerative conditions, trauma and deformities. He performs a wide range of procedures , including Spinal Injections, Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery, Spinal Fusion Surgeries, Spinal Micro-decompression and Spinal Microdiscectomy. Mr Hamad obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Aberdeen, and subsequently undertook postgraduate training specialising in spinal surgery at the Stoke/Oswestry orthopaedic rotation. He was awarded a Fellowship from the reputable Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in Orthopaedics, followed by the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). During this training he worked at two Specialist Spine Centres, gaining valuable experience in Complex Spinal Surgery. He attended Visitations in France and Ireland to broaden his experience and skillset, and attended an additional Fellowship at Manchester Childrens Hospital and Salford Royal Infirmary. He works for the NHS at one of the busiest major trauma centres in the UK, where he performs all aspects of spinal surgery and works with a close team of allied health proffesionals to ensure all patients received the best care possible. Mr Hamad has experience in both the public and private sectors. In addition to his medical practice, he is interested in teaching and training others in the field, and sharing his expertise with the next generation.
