Vidusha currently holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from the University of the West of England. She aspires to be an Occupational Therapist mainly in a mental health setting. During her professional journey as a trainee, Vidusha was able to practice and develop her skills in an Acute Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit in her first year. Her second year of practice as a trainee involved working in the CALs (Complex Assessment and Liaison service) Team specialised to work with geriatrics in Southmead Hospital on the ward. Her final year of training consisted of her working in a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit with patients affected by traumatic brain injuries. Throughout her training experience, Vidusha was able to develop and enhance her core skills and her acquired clinical skills. Vidusha is currently working for Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust on an acute female ward. Her core skills are: compassion, empathy, integrity, honesty and a positive attitude. Her clinical skills are: clinical reasoning, documentation, manual handling and problem solving.
