Therapy is a way for you to work through particular issues in a safe environment. I work in a non-directive style, which means that it will always be up to you to decide what to bring to the session - I will not ask, or expect, you to talk about anything you do not want to.During sessions we will think together about the issues you are facing, and how they are making you feel at this time. I will make space for you to be heard in a completely non-judgmental environment. We will take sessions at your pace.In general I do not use 'homework' or worksheets, unless this is something which suits you. Our time will be spent in exploring your feelings and emotions, and in enabling you to focus on any areas of change.The core of my work is person-centred, but my practice is not exclusively person-centred - I will always work with a focus of building a trusting relationship with the aim of meeting the therapeutic goals you set yourself at the start of our work.
