Dr Vania Piludu is a Chartered and HCPC Registered Clinical and Counselling Psychologist and Physiotherapist based in London. She has over 20 years of experience in all areas of child, adolescent and adult psychology and specialises in the use of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques and psychodynamic approaches to treatment.Dr Piludu completed both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Padua, Italy in 1994 and 1996. Following this, she completed training in several psychotherapy techniques including CBT, dialectical behavioural therapy (DCT) and cognitive analytic therapies. She also completed a 4-year training programme in Lacanian Psychoanalysis at the Freudian Institute in Italy as well as ADOS2 autism training with Pearson and the Autism Ambassador Association.Dr Piludu has several years of clinical experience in psychology and psychotherapy working in both Italys national mental health services and the NHS.
