I provide my clients with the skills and tools they need to manage their life stressors, and challenges. As my clients implement these skills and tools, they start to experience a decrease in symptoms and can manage better. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT, Dialetical Behavioral Therapy - DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Strength Based Therapy and Biblical principles incorporated in sessions at clients request. I believe that my clients have innate strength(s) that has aided them so far with managing the stressors in their life journey. As sessions progresses we start to explore what those strength(s) might be. The identified strength(s) are incorporated into their healing journey. Sometimes clients may be unaware of those strength or may overlook those strength(s). Through processing my clients start to embrace identified strength which is a big deal in their mental health journey. At the first session, intake forms, practice policies are reviewed and I start to build rapport with my clients. We then proceed with identifying and developing therapeutic goals as time allows depending on the level of need. After the goals are developed we establish a treatment plan. The treatment plan is put in place in order to keep track of the goals and therapy progress as session progresses.
