I’m Tim and I’m a counsellor based in Reading and Berkshire who offers a safe and relaxed space for you to explore any issues that might be troubling you. I am available to see people in person or online. I work in an integrative way, focusing on your needs. I have always been a good listener who is non-judgmental. At the heart of my work is a deep joy in connecting with people and helping them foster a better understanding of themselves. I also work in the knowledge that many of us live and work in a society and culture that places pressures on us to behave in ways that are often not beneficial to our wellbeing. I have worked with clients on many issues including depression, anxiety, relationships, bereavement, self-esteem, intimacy, trauma, PTSD, sexuality and questions around their identity. I've worked with clients at a charity which offers counselling support to women and men who had suffered sexual and domestic trauma. I continue to work with clients at SupportU, exploring a range of issues such as anxiety, coming out, passing, addiction, gender identity, living with HIV and intimate relationships. That first approach can feel scary, but many people have found it profoundly helpful to talk through their troubles with someone experienced.
