Talent Acquisition with Purpose. I am a Strategic Business Partner in Talent Acquisition, a Coach, Mentor, and Resource to my team. A little bit about me: I have been a Registered Nurse for over 32 years with a variety of experience to include Critical Care, Hospice, Cancer Outreach Education, and as a Flight Nurse in the US Air Force. I pivoted to hiring the best nurses in 2005, when I became a Healthcare Recruiter. I have had the honor of recruiting for hospitals and health plans, from Nurses to Senior Solutions Architects to Physicians. It all begins with an Intake Session. I believe in sharing knowledge, which is why I have presented best practices in Talent Acquisition at numerous conferences to include: ASHHRA, PRC, NAHCR, TMA's Creating a Customer Service Culture, Indeed Interactive, as well as local Healthcare Recruitment Associations. My strengths: The ability to connect with candidates and partner with hiring managers for the best hires in my organization. My ability to see a process, evaluate it, and then fix it. During my professional tenure as a nurse (and even prior to that), I have had the distinct honor of serving my country in the United States Air Force – working Active Duty and the Reserves until 2006, when I retired with 23 years of service.
