My experience includes working for a major mental health facility in Northampton as well as counselling in a North London counselling centre.  Currently, I teach counselling skills on a BACP Accredited diploma for Psychodynamic Counselling while also working in private practice.Sometimes life events can have an enormous effect on our lives.  We can feel overwhelmed by situations or as though we have to deal with difficult issues alone with seemingly no way out.  From time to time we experience events that might keep us stuck in unhelpful behaviour patterns and reduce our quality of life. Counselling can help get through those times.  It is a unique process that helps you develop self-awareness and supports you to discover and strengthen your inner resources.  You are offered to talk about issues that affect your quality of life at your own pace and in an entirely confidential and non-judgemental environment.You will be assisted to unveil the triggers and coping patterns that undermine your wellbeing whilst being supported to develop new perspectives, strategies and ways of handling and managing them, so you can live, feel and thrive.I believe in insight-oriented therapy, which will integrate several techniques that are tuned to your individual need and pace.  This method enhances your self-understanding to give you choices and empower you in your life.I offer an initial consultation at a reduced rate. As client and therapist, we may use this time to explore the particular difficulties for which you seek counselling.  I will discuss these confidentially with you and address any questions you may have.I also offer Couples Counselling.
