Hello my name is Susy. I am a counsellor and want to give you the opportunity to be heard and understood. My belief is that the power of the therapeutic relationship is a safe place to unravel and explore what is going on beneath the surface. It is the beginning of finding the real you. All too often our innermost feelings and thoughts are dismissed as not being important and we don’t ask for help – this has a negative effect on mental and physical wellbeing leading to unwelcome behaviours, stress and depression. Sometimes problems of low mood, anxiety and poor self esteem are issues we have been carrying around since childhood. I am able to offer you experience, empathy and realness in a non-judgemental space to help you see things clearer and from a different perspective. I believe that each and every person is unique and my training as an integrative therapist allows me to work with each client in the best possible way. This, combined with my kind and sensitive approach, allows us to work together to unravel and understand what is going on, and how to get you to a better place. My own experience of counselling has seen me through difficult times and I want to provide help to those wishing to promote positive change too. Therapy can give you the chance to focus purely on yourself.
