I have worked with individuals and couples for forty years, and offer a wealth of experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self confidence, relationship and other emotional difficulties.I qualified as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor in 1990, having already worked for ten years as a qualified social worker with individuals and families. Alongside my private practice, I worked for many years with Highgate Counselling Centre, both as a Counsellor for individuals, in the Initial Consultation team and as part of its Couples and Families team. I was Course Director of its Certificate in Counselling Skills course for several years, and my specialisms include attachment, separation, loss and bereavement.For the past ten years I have also led a weekly group for carers who have a family member with special needs, at a local church.In my private practice I work in person from a pleasant consulting room in my garden studio in Crouch End.
